Another great day on the Wye. Not easy fishing but roving the stretch found the fish. The Wye was up 1m ovenight and we thought this might get the fish feeding but they didn't really seem too bothered and we had to work for the bites, fighting all the debris that was coming down, weed, branches, logs, etc. However 4 barbel each and some nice chub was a great reward.

1st ever session on the Wye so a little unsure of tactics so we tried a number of swims, so we were pleased to have caught. River and fish in great condition. Looking forward to returning

Squally conditions - difficult fishing but as always great to be on the Wye.

Our favourite W & U beat and once again did not disappoint. Good to catch up again with Andy albeit from a distance! Feeder tactics in the faster water combined with 8mm pellets or Krill dumbbells did the trick. All fish in great condition and have not forgotten how to scrap. Best of 9lb 15 and probably the same fish caught earlier in the week by our friend Brian. We will be back!!

We fished until 3pm, so a relatively short session. Bright sunshine in the afternoon. All the barbel came in the morning.

The river was fining down. It rained throughout the day making the banks treacherous. Two of the barbel were over 8 pounds

The river was up but fining down. All fish on pellet. Best barbel weighed 9 pounds 15 ounces.
