A day of frustration and disappointment is how I would sum up this visit. Throughout the whole day I never saw or heard a rising fish but I did see a large American Mink hunting on the bank and in the river! I did manage a 10 inch trout right at the death in a pool on a grhe. River was low very overgrown and new downed trees are also present. I probably won't bother with the Hindwell again which is a shame because I really like it. It's too overgrown, not only with brambles, but the lower tree canopies spoil the fishing and the newer downed trees are not removed. It used to be great, not anymore.
