Only one fishing, river was up a bit and coloured so conditions not very good four good chub caught and one eel caught, will be back!

Lovely condition chub, caught in beats 3, 5 and 6, all on the left bank. Bites dried up as the sun came out and the temperature rose. Fishing a cage feeder.

Harder work than usual on a coloured river that came up three feet the previous day. Barbel were especially hard to find, but they fed well in one spot for a short period in the afternoon. Island swims all inaccessible and/or unfishable due to the extra water.

Flowing very fast today. 3oz leds fished in slack water. Targetting barbel but no luck .
