A big thankyou to the fishery owner for taking the time and effort to install steps into most of the swims,a pleasant few hours at Foy bridge only 1 chub of 4lb 3oz as I could not fish the fast water as another angler present.

Conditions looked ideal, but the fish weren't playing.

Fished from 1 pm till 7. My fishing mate A W from Ledbury was gardening so no show!!. went through the ripples to start with using a small nymph ,nothing. Rivers very low, saw a few rising about 5 pm. Very interesting as could see them popping up from tight under the rocks to the surface but not interested in anything i had in my box. Had some liquid refreshment and tried the ripples again with a pop up emerger that done the trick. An enjoyable afternoon.

A very disappointing beat which is very difficult to access and is certainly not as mentioned one mile of double bank fishing, I could only access two small sections with the best spot being by the footbridge, no fish caught or seen!
