Tro cynta' ar y llyn yma - lleoliad gogoneddus, a llonyddwch perffaith.

Chwipio plu ar sesiwn min nos, heulog braf, gydag awel yn chwythu dros y llyn. Un brithyll hardd i'r rhwyd, ar bluen 'buzzer' bach tywyll รข phen oren - wedi'i ddychwelyd yn ddiogel.
-----
My first visit to this llyn - a beautiful location, with stunning tranquility.

An evening session on the fly - fine weather, with a breeze over the water. One pretty brown trout to the net, on a small dark, orange-head buzzer - returned safely.

Really challenging day. Great beat with several swims available but it is difficult in low water. Had to move to find the fish and both anglers caught in each of the 3 swims that we tried. No barbel this time.

Fished 15.00 to 19.00. Periods of torrential showers and strong downstream wind probably suppressed surface activity but managed to winkle out a couple of great brown trout by searching riffles and seams with an olive comparadun. Would have stayed later to see if a late evening hatch occurred but weather conditions were unhelpful. Enjoyable session nevertheless.
