Hydro electric generating (half level) all day on the Rheidol. generating water receded around 23:00. I small Seatrout caught during the day in a fast run on a size 14 silver butcher. No salmon or other fish seen or heard. Packed up at 01:00.

A nice beat, easily fishable, some parts of the bank path quite hard going. All fish caught on the top half of the beat using size 14 black and gold nymph.

Nil return. No fish seen. Continuous regatta of canoes on the water. Water was also coloured and the now familiar slimy film on the gravel made it slippery under foot.

Fished a few hrs in the morning caught almost immediately… then things went quiet. Back in the late afternoon picked up another Barbel Both fell to meat sizes 4lb & 6-7 lb
