River low but conditions overcast and cool and river temperate not to hot. All fish caught with significant quantities of lice on them which was removed before fish released. Fished in the woods but peg access quite dangerous!

Been trying to get on here in the summer for a few years but were thwarted by the low oxygen closure last year. The massive head of Chub down the bottom end were very obliging to float, meat and hemp tactics with all three of us having our best ever Chub catches of 48, 32 and 18 with all bar a handful being around 3lb with the biggest at 4.5. Moved swims and tried for the barbel in the afternoon but only more Chub. A brilliant day's fishing!

First cast nice chub over 4lb, thought this was the start of a great day to come but only knocks and touches after that, despite and overcast day and seemingly good conditions.
Regardless of the catch a great day and a well looked after beat. Pegs strummed to make access and fishing easy. Not a big job to do but a great thing to have done. Thank you for however took the time as I will be back on here gain to try for more.

9 barbel between 2 anglers and several dozen chub to rolling and lightly legered baits. Other reports suggest an explosion in the Wye chub population this year.

Only managed 3 hours at the lucky Stone, due to unforeseen circumstances. All chub to meat both float fished and feeder.
I noticed for the first time that at least half of the fish were infested with a number of lice. I am not sure if that reflects the current quality of the water or due to other factors.
