a quick couple of hours in the evening. River has dropped more than I thought, fished two pools the big one and the waterworks one. Saw 3 fish in big pool and two in the waterworks pool, didn't touch any Salmon but shad are now here

Water looked nice, but not much happening with the fish. I fished down most of the beat with nymphs. One small one saved me from a b;lank. Perhaps the north wind put them off....?
