Float fished , meat pellet and corn , chub from half lb to approx 4lb

Again I was lucky . The only one there . So because lack of swims . And severity of slopes of swims , I fished same swim as a few days ago . With not such a good day . But I would suspect that’s because everybody fished it because they had no choice.
But I did catch a few 5 chub to 2-1/2 lbs and 3 eels to 1-1/2 lbs

Very tough going. We tried everything. No barbel just a few chub. Lovely to be back on the river again though.

There were two anglers on the beat today.

Lovely beat,saw lots of wildlife...waiting for the rain.

First of three days back on the wye begins here at holme lacy 3 and no better place to begin all three of us catching some lovely chub and barbel excellent start hopefully the next two will be as good
SG 75 chub and 3 berbel MH 65 chub SM 60 chub.
