5 x trout 6-10 inches, Black Klinkhammer. Very low river and hard going this morning. Only action seemed to be caused by little black sedges in one pool.

Very enjoyable days fishing, plenty of beetles on the water so following advice from another angler who was fishing there as well I put on a brown coloured beetle fly fished on top and sometimes and just under the surface and caught at least 20 fish, lost a few and missed plenty of takes. Saw a Osprey hovering then diving into the llyn and failing to catch.

All fish returned fished dry all day as fish were showing more offers than landed, mostly on coch y bondu. Had the lake to my self

9 roach all under 10ozs. To be noted lots of signs of Carp energetically spawning all over the pond

Fished top section. River low but still plenty of little runs and deep pools . Ideal for dry fly. Lots of fish rising all day. 7 caught and many missed. All fish on a small,16, black klinkhammers. Most fish 6.8in range ,best pushing 10in. If you like fishing pocket water, light tackle and the dry fly thoroughly recommend.
