Wyastone Leys, a very fresh 18lb fish for Ricky Reno on a fly.

A grey, damp day, with fish only rising sporadically in a few spots, but we had fun

First time I’ve been back to this beat for about 4 years I think. Conditions good but fish not interested. We Tried dries and and nymphs. No surface activity despite regular hatches

Bright/sunny - assorted flies used - just a couple of takes - nothing caught

Unfortunately the rivers was very low trickle of mayfly nothing rising.

Fished several wet fly patterns for trout, had several light takes but none hooked, all were small trout or parr. River conditions were low and clear, very little surface activity.

Another very poor day on the boat. No fish rising 3 rainbows for a full day's fishing tried every from a floater to a di3. Beginning to wonder if its being stocked at all even the cormorants have disappeared
