Fished Afon Gwyrfai, caught and returned one small brown trout on a white moth. Bright and windy so not ideal conditions but a great day either way! Fished the Seiont and Llyn Padarn but no luck.

Hello all,
Hope people will find this info useful, I had good day at Usk, fantastic weather, I was spinning, fish was active but quite tricky, it took only natural colours and smaller spoons 3.5gr to 6gr, fish was in a tree brunches, so if you can cast close you will most likely get a bite, I had more than 15-20 but managed to land only 6 fish and I returned all brown and small rainbow.

Bright, warm sunny day. The water level was very low. Saw a few fish but nothing was rising. Caught a nice 10" WBT on a gold head nymph. Need some rain!

First visit of the year and the weather for once on my side. Water was low as previously stated but there was enough not
to spoil the day. Tried trad wet flies which got a few pulls but lighting quick which I failed to react to. Decided to change to tight Euro nymphing and once I found the right weight brought two nice Grayling. Picked up a small Trout later in the day
and was happy at the end of the day. River does need some rain to bring it to its best.
