Fantastic days fishing, all fish caught in deep pools using heavy jig flies. Great day all round.

A bit cold and windy. Bites were few and far between. Stayed till 4pm to get my bag.

Cold north wind, temp drop from last week. No fish seen.

3 x trout 11 inches, 11 inches and 16.6 inches, Dry flies and spiders. Started with a heavy frost and continued darned cold although the sun shone at times.

A very cold windy day. A good hatch of LDOs in the fast water in the middle of the beat and a few fish coming up for them. They were very picky but I managed one take which was a cracking fish that was getting on for 2lbs. There was a flurry of March Browns that lasted all of 30 seconds and that was it for the day. A tough day but great to be out.
