Mostly caught on pepperami with pellet feeder under an overhanging willow tree in the second swim below the hedge. Just above the gate swim. Thanks to Stefan for his advice and maintenance of the swims.

the weather was rather windy, but we were successful. Water level higher than previously fished, but looked very 'fishy' ended with 1 barbel (6lb) and 7 good chub, all around 3-5lbs. all fish were in good condition.

A trickle of olives from noon brought some trout up. Will have to sharpen the reflexes to make the most of the very quick takes. A tiny grayling saved the day, caught on the dangle near the bridge.
Still, good to see rising fish so early in the season.

River looked good if a bit fast but no sign of a bite all day.

Tried various spots and eventually caught at the bottom end casting into the crease between the fast water and the back eddy. 16mm Halibut pellet did the trick.

Arrived late,so only fished for an hour. Few knocks but no fish. Just great to be on the river

river looked in good condition but the fish thought otherwise.
