just two chub landed today but still a very enjoyable day lots more available swims to fish which were previously overgrown,steps and ropes a great help

All fish on meat, Barbel caught last cast.

River unfishable - too dangerous to wade, despite little obvious rain for some days. Did not even cast a line.

Lovely day on the Upper river ruined by approx 20 canoes, clearly an organised group. This is happening all too often and despite being told that they should not be there by the beat owner, they carried on regardless.

Only fished for a couple of hours in the upper sections of the beat. River looked perfect but I couldn't find the grayling. They are there though. One oos brown of about a pound. Hope Rich the other chap booked in did better!
