Another lovely day fishing the wye caught 6 chub up to around 5lb and one barbel around 8lb All fish caught on ledgered meat or pellet with pva bag

River dropping off and a good colour, slightly more pace than I like at this time of year but as this beat is mostly shallow. Caught in all swims we fished on a variety of methods including a Salmon Parr trotting. Nothing weighed just the average size Wye fish. Enjoyable as always

Fishing harder than the conditions would suggest....Chub plentiful but Barbel reticent.

Tough day with lots of debris flowing, but persistent paid off with a beautiful grayling. Wading staff was essential.
