Challenging day first time on the venue , just 1 chub

Fished beat 4, not a lot of flow on the water, managed 2 chub in the faster shallow water.

Fished for about an hour around tea time
All three fish caught on a parachute iron blue dun, others missed

Another great day on the wonderful river wye ! Got off to a slow start ! Started at 07.30 and didn’t get a fish until 11.30 then the chub and barbel arrived and finished up with 16 chub up to just over 5 lb and 3 barbel a brilliant day !

No fish caught for the first time ever. Can’t believe how bad this place fished today, actually I can because everywhere else I fished this week hasn’t been much better.!
I guess we have the chicken farmers to thank for that.
It saddens me to see the river in such a state.

1 small chub after trying 3 swims,Water level still low most swims for to weedy .Very few swims fishable won’t be rushing back to fish ,Vert disappointed !!

1 Chub caught after trying 3 swims most pegs heavy weed growth ,water too low to land decent fish from bank ,Very few pegs accessible if unstable on feet unless cross with mountain goat.Very disappointing won’t be rushing back !!!

Very nice fishery with plenty of easy access to the river. Will come again.

Dull overcast day with nothing much hatching, Fished nymphs most of the time, A great days fishing .
Could have benefited from more water.
