First visit of the season. A late start, for me ,started fishing 11.30 fishing A470 side about 150 mtrs up from the dam wall
No action at all for a couple of hours. Sunny spells with an occasional cold breeze. Popped up worm and spinner methods used. After around 3 hours fishing I landed a very nice browny 1.5 lbs in very nice condition which was returned . it was caught on a fire tiger spinner. Unfortunately after that no action again but nice to get out in the fresh air and take in the beautiful scenery

Ledgered maggot was used by all. Fishing was slow early morning but improved at 11am. Trout caught were from 8oz to 1Ib.
Some trees require cutting back on the areas adjacent to the railway line to allow more space and to help with casting. A very enjoyable days fishing.

4 Trout to Justin's rod to 13" 2 March Brown patterns and 2 fish to Nymph. My rod was blank although lost 2 fish using heavier tackle than normal.
We did note what looked like raw sewage coming out of a pipe which was disconcerting at such low water levels. Picture taken.
