2nd day of my trip and very different to the previous day.
Fished same swim in the woods, first 5 casts yielded 4 barbel to 8lbs and a chub then no more barbel.
Chub continued until I left at midday.

Only fished for a few hours due to the long journey back in time for the football.
Very disappointing, no bites but canoes were an absolute nightmare. For some reason they were all coming upstream, presumably from the camp site. At one point I had 6 canoes in my swim trying to get through a section of faster water.
Beautiful, well maintained beat which I would definitely fish again, this was just a short unfortunate day.
