X4 trout from 6 to 10'' all taken on weighted nymph. All fish returned. Large parts of this beat were unfishable due to very low water. All fish were taken in the few fast deep pools that I could find. Two trees have fallen at end of beat - near the weir. Hopefully these will be pulled out this winter. I love this beat and will return next year but lets pray for some proper rain!

We were 2 coarse anglers and 1 salmon
The river was low but we managed to catch 10 barbel and 6 chub on a mixture if float and feeder tactics, our salmon angler unfortunately did not catch but did see several fish during the day.

Not a day for fish for me. Really struggled again here. Fish seem to hide away when I turn up! Fished late afternoon through to evening. Not a single take on float or feeder. Chatting to nice guy who also booked, he managed to grab a few decent barbel. This venue is my nemesis without a doubt.

A couple of hours in the evening. Found a decent fish feeding in an open area and he nailed my d/h caddis first cast, interesting few minutes keeping him out of the weed, 16inches! I’m guessing at the water there could be lots more and bigger here. All other fish between 7-10 inches. After fishing and crashing through the undergrowth In bare sleeves, I suspect I have brushed past Japanese Hogweed, I have quite a few suspicious rashes that aren’t looking to good, long sleeves for me now on.
3 Trout, 2 Grayling
