Arrived to find the river still showing a tinge of colour but the warm bright conditions proved difficult. BP managed to winkle out a pristine Chub of approx. 2 ½ lb but despite best efforts with various pellets, meat and corn, this was to be the only success of the day. Overall, a tough day when the river reminded us who is boss. Still a great day to be on the bank. Numerous large Salmon jumping clear of the water throughout the day, with hundreds of Damselflies keeping us company. Surprisingly few canoes, most of whom were courteous and polite.

Caught 9 trout. Fished with guide Chris Price. Good guide and good company. The path on the river bank can do with a trimming, because it was completely over grown.
