River low and clear. Bottom end of stretch. A solitary chub and 2 barbel including a stunner of 11.7 Back at the pub we discovered the swim had yielded 14 chub the previous day which explains why things were a little slow...

A blank day again, but not a disappointing day. Fished from the Towy Bridge Inn downstream. Really good fishable water so will be back again. Excellent value for money.

3 x trout 6-8 inches, Rusty Klinkhammer. At the end of an exceptionally warm autumn day, I spent just an hour before dark doing the bottom 100 yards. I guess that will be the last time this year. Farmer also using the last of the light to plough up the field on the right bank.
