Absolutely stunning fishery. Great mix of riffles and glides. Decent spread of rising fish. Good mix of grayling and wbt. Will definitely return!

Weather was overcast for the most part. Due to it being the weekend there were a lot of canoes and kayaks going past, for the most part canoeists where respectful but did have some that would come right into your swim. Method feeder filled with halibut pellet and a 10mm halibut dumbbell on the hair.

Another decent day on this lovely beat. Fished my usual method of spiders with a gold head hares ear on the point across and down. Eight wild brown trout all small, and one specimen grayling of eighteen inches caught along the while of the beat. See photo. Just a passing observation on catch return info by others. We're all flyfishers why not say what flies and methods you used rather just how many you caught.

A beautiful sunny day on a beautiful stretch. Perhaps too sunny as no fish were showing at all to swim fed pellet. A slow day until 6pm when unsure and tentative bites led to no fish of merit sadly. Water level low.

The Fishing Passport description of this beat is misleading. There's no access to the river as written in description. The banks are very steep and heavily overgrown, it's actually quite dangerous as the growth of bushes by the bank is hiding steep slants and I actually fell twice, nearly broke my rod. Managed to fight through the bushes and other growth to 2 places, however no fish in the river spotted, casting problematic. Such a disappointment. 10 miles away a land owner by the little creek offered to try it out, the place was spotless, nicely maintained with easy and clean access, few graylings tagged. Conclusion - can't trust this website stories.

Really enjoyed my day fishing the Wye for the first time. Should have done it ages ago.

Had the whole place to myself. Arrived at 10 and walked all the pegs in bright sunshine. Decided on the Upper section as couldn't find many pegs on the lower part. River running low and some bits of foam coming down when I first stated. This quickly stopped I was glad to see. I started in the first peg where you park at and caught a 2lb 13oz chub fishing the groundbait feeder with a 8mm robin red pellet. Missed a bite straight after and then it went dead. I decided the peg was probably a bit too shallow so moved in to the last peg i could get in upstream. By which point the sun was beating down and it was hard going. Managed a another chub of around the same size before retiring to the top of the bank to listen to the cricket and sit in the shade. Had a barbel of 4lb 11oz on an 8mm krill pellet followd by a 2lb 8oz chub. Just as I thought they were getting on the feed, more horrible foam came down and the bites dried up at around 7.30pm. Packed up and went to the pub before driving back to Bath.

I have to say there was quite a lot of litter left in swims which i was surprised about. Picked it all up and took it home. What's wrong with people. Why would you do that. Can't wait to try a different section when there's more water on. Thanks Adam for all the great videos.
