River at much better level than yesterday. Early LDO hatch then lots of MBs through afternoon til 4.00. Only pricked one on the dry, then landed 3 on nymph and one on spiders. 4 Fish 12 to 14 inches. Can’t seem to do very well during the hatches. Feisty beasts tho.

Good days fishing, five trout in total, missed several more, all using baits popped up of the bottom

River high but very clear. Despite chilly weather LDOs hatched in huge numbers from 12-3.30pm, but strangely very few fish came to the surface. Those that did were willing to take a Comparadun among numerous naturals. 5 trout : 14"14"13"11"10".

Only 1 bite all day landed the fish but was very cold and wet so called it a day. Tried 3 different spots with worm and spinner and had plenty of fish follow the spinner but just seemed to be off the feed. Probably down to the wind and rain.

River running faster and darker due to heavier rain overnight - no fish taken during the day.

Late return so can’t remember much. But I caught fish....

Did not fish, river high so cut my losses and headed home

Went down for a look rather than a fish. High water running fast and fairly brown. Surprised to catch a 12oz brownie on a march brown.
