Fished from mid morning, and had six fish by lunchtime, all on wet flies (size 12 zulu and silver pennel). However, by early afternoon the wind had got up to quite a rate, making casting almost impossible (and falling into a hole waist high in water just behind the christmas tree on the N bank didn't help), so made an early exit.

Scenic and quiet location, easy to access as per the instructions. Caught 4 roach on sweetcorn, plenty of carp activity to be seen. Kingfishers also present!

Great job done on the road

First visit to this stretch. Well kept and Stefan, the bailiff, very helpful with his advice. Mainly roved around the bottom field catching on feeder and pellet with a little trotting meat in the middle of the day.

No fish seen at either junction pools or the bridge pool at the end of the stretch of river
