2 fish caught but not landed. River conditions low, weather sunny and windy

Very quiet with few rises. Fish easily spooked and no luck with nymphs in faster water. Very picturesque.

Common Carp around 6lb , lost 2 at the bank

1 x brown trout 11'', 1 x brown trout 15''. Both caught on size 16 Tups Indispensable. Very nice beat, had to leave as the best of the evening rise was getting underway.

You should say that Nantlle can only be fished by a boat - we turned up and had to clamber over a barbed wire fence and then found the lake unfishable without a boat. Wasted a few hours when you could have mentioned this on your website.
