River a bit out of sorts, already high and rising again through the day. Lots of weed in the main flow so finding slack water was essential. Difficult day with fish not readily feeding. Two good barbel caught 8lb and 8 1/2 lb to spicy sausage boilies.

River up and chocolate coloured but at least the rain kept off!

River high & very coloured. Lots of weed coming through making fishing difficult. Biggest of the day 10lb exactly

Wet start river rising very coloured caught a lovely 5lb chub all fish caught on Halibut pellet nice section of river. Thanks to the guys that let us fish with them and my fault.

Fish ranged from 5lb to 7lb.

In the morning the water was high and very murky after heavy rain during the night. No fish seen. A campsite dog took a liking to me. There were multiple squirrels eating cob nuts and also a hornets nest in a tree next to the bank. After 2 hours of no fish I left. I returned in the evening the water was more fishable but the nearest I got to a fish was a rise to a klink otherwise nothing seen.

Very good day for barbel fishing. Water was coloured, and barbel was feedeing all day. It's not an easy stretch of the river (reports and avaibility), and after rain is hard to find a good swim.
Barbel liked pellets and boilies, meat didn't work - I tried Spam and pepperami. Chub appeared in the evening - I thought this venue is chub only, but it was 'very' barbel! There is a problem with snags - I lost at least ten hooks and few feeders, but that's Wye! :-)

River was flowing hard from previous days deluge. Hard but enjoyable. Will visit again.

Two perch only! A very dissapointing trip! Highly likely not to return again as second trip with same results!
