We had a junior day ticket. My son caught 2 rainbow trout 14" in size. These were caught on worm. He also caught a 3rd fish which he released.

A very bright and warm day. Sporadic small hatches of LDOs and March Browns in the morning, nothing after 1.30pm. 2 BT on olive emerger and GRH nymph. Kingfishers and an otter made for a lovely day.

Really enjoyable days fishing.

Fished for about 4 hours in late morning/early afternoon. The river was fairly low and clear and still quite cold despite it being a mild sunny day. Very few flies about and no fish were seen rising. 3 trout caught short line nymphing, the biggest about 10-11 inches.

T blanked. River flowing surprisingly quickly.

Bright sunshine and very warm. No fish seen or caught. First time on this beat. Definitely will look to return again, aiming for lower water. Thanks WUF.

Weather bright,light breeze. 2 rods 5 hrs both fished very deep one with dragonfly nymph on point and cats whiskers on dropper other rod with booby. Fish scattered, slow going. A few fish lost as well as 8 landed. A wonderful sunny day out with a few fish for the table.

Nil return. Water high but good colour.

Very pleasant day. No fish seen or caught but did see a very large pike sunning itself in Llangoed pool. Sadly fourth day on the Wye and still to see the illusive salar.
