Very hot day, moved around picking up Chub from various swims on the pellet feeder

Very hot day. ! Most chub from Luggsmouth.
Fished the Oxford run. Despite fishing there in the past and having several Barbel not yesterday. Just one lost barbel at the net at dusk

Good access and well maintained fishery. Heatwave conditions so sport was always going to be slow but a nice chub and an even more welcome roach on scaled down tackle kept our spirits high

The tree clearance work has created access to some new swims. One Gentleman on opposite bank fishing, who politely said he would move when we arrived, thank you. The fish clearly have other things on their minds at the moment!
