Started at the top, Barbel first cast & a couple of Chub tried a few swims in the middle but nothing, finished off in the bottom field with another 4 Chub & a nice Barbel just as the sun was setting, all fish on the pellet feeder, always nice to be on the river

A lovely stretch of water but swims really limited. Usually you have a choice but not here it is so overgrown that once you settle in a swim that’s it. If there is no maintenance soon it won’t be fishable. We did catch but only one caught the bulk of the fish. Pellet feeder did the damage.

as usual the barbel were a bit scarce but the chub kept us busy. nothing on pellet feeder, so corn, maggots and other baits prevailed. still a good days fishing.
