We ended up fishing at the end of the beat just before the island. Arrived just after 10am road and parking was easy with a car, weather was nice too, sunny and dry.
We caught 2 barbel and 3 chubs, even we didn’t see but we lost another 2 barbel (assume) at least when we were reeling in. Loads of wildlife was present and a drone was checking on us too a few times. Couple of annoying canoeist who thought it is good fun tramping the pedals at the canoe where we fishing ????♂️
Other than that lovely day as usual, very chilling and quiet. Left around 8pm.

Absolutely stunning fishery. Great mix of riffles and glides. Decent spread of rising fish. Good mix of grayling and wbt. Will definitely return!

Weather was overcast for the most part. Due to it being the weekend there were a lot of canoes and kayaks going past, for the most part canoeists where respectful but did have some that would come right into your swim. Method feeder filled with halibut pellet and a 10mm halibut dumbbell on the hair.
