12 chub 4 barbel all caught on 8 mm pellet

A very cold and rising river meant that only a couple of small trout saved the blank.

river very high and colored, return visit after wash off last visit, nothing caught all day, only just about fishable really.
but end of year so had to take wash off day.

Tough day in high and very coloured water conditions . Normally good when the river is up but the water temperature was still very cold so a bit of a gamble and alas no fish today. Still a lovely place to spend a day on the river.

Didn't fish.
River very high, banks very slippery and still raining first thing, so gave it a miss.

Very cold but we managed a few fish on a great beat
