Fished a few hours in the morning. River was low but in good condition. Not the usual weather or temperatures for September so non of the daddies got a look in! Missed loads of takes as plenty of fish were rising and managed to catch a couple on Olive patterns.

Fish caught before lunch on nymphs before the sun got up after which point I broke off for the afternoon. Water temp was OK. Returned in the evening hoping for dry fly action but hardly any risers. Enjoyable day I'd definitely fish it again despite the dodgy wading!

4 anglers for an evening, hot day new ti the location, found it difficult locating the water the google maps on the site wasn't working and the water was not well maintained it was difficult to know if this was a fishery or not.

Once we started fishing we managed 3 eels between us
