The Foy Bridge beat is a stunning stretch of fishing in the Wye Valley, an area that is celebrated for its outstanding natural beauty. The beat enjoys 225 metres of double bank fishing, with easy accessibility, well maintained pegs and car parking adjacent to the Foy Bridge.

This section of River Wye offers outstanding coarse fishing, specifically for Barbel, Chub and Perch.

From June to the end of September, half price evening tickets for coarse fishing can be purchased after 1pm on the day. Fishing is allowed from 5pm.

For salmon anglers the beat has a good fly fishing pool with numerous boulders and potential lies. See the Foy Fishery for more details.

In the words of John Morwood the host of the Magic of Fishing You Tube Channel. “Legendary angling destinations are legendary for a reason!”

If you require accommodation there are a number of affordable options:

The Annexe
and the
The Wagtail

Both are great options in the nearby hamlet of Hole-in-the-Wall. (500metres from the beat)

The Lyndor Certified Location Caravan Site is located a mile upstream from the site. Caravan & Motorhome Club Members only.
