3 Barbel, 24 Chub

Good day, river had a wee bit of colour but low as to be expected. Barbel are covered in argulus, much worse than last year with all three fish having sores form infestations behind the dorsal fins and above the pecs. Spent time whilst recovering the fish carefully removing. Hopefully a good flush through when it happens will help to wash them off. But I would ask people to keep and eye out.

Didn't catch any course fish, although we did see Carp topping. Thousands of Minnows in the margins. Worrying thing we caught was an American Signal Crayfish!

Caught 2 chub on garlic luncheon meat & corn + a pinnacle water.

Hot and very low. Micro dries in slower sections and small nymphs in faster water. Spinner fall started later on but rained off
