Warm & humid. River low and in need of freshening up.

spent morning fishing with spinner no luck .never saw any fish rising nothing very quiet

Windy conditions, but warm. Spinning, but no takes.

Lovely hot sunny day and Mick very helpful giving us advice and guidance in the morning. Saw several fish in the van stone, but none interested in our flies.

An Eel approx 2lbs and a Common Carp 9lb

All caught in the afternoon on Hares Ear Nymph.

Used a variety of spinners. Water was clear. Fish were very active, feeding at the surface. Saw a couple of trout follow my spinner but ultimately didn't catch any.

Arrived around midday with the river quite low but still fishable. A few Mayfly seen throughout the afternoon. Two good trout landed and a third lost at the net, all to a dry Mayfly pattern. The first fish came from under the Ranunculus just above the bridge. The other 2 were both seen rising and gently sipped my fly under. Another pleasant day on this stretch of river.

Another nice sunny day this week, Llyn Rheidol was windy (no fish caught) so moved up to Pond rhosrydd and caught 2 brown trout both to around half a pound, moved down to pond Glandwgan caught one brown trout around a pound.
All fish returned to swim another day.
All caught on a black small gold bead spider.
Windy sunny day and managed to make a truly memorable day .
