Very warm and the river was low. That said, there was a stiff upstream wind. Nice beat - much longer than I anticipated, so I only managed to work my way up half way. Will have to go back. Both fish caught on nymphs

Nicely overcast but a bit of a cold wind blowing. 3 modest grayling and a few missed takes between us (NB FP- block booking shows as 1 angler). Not much bug life, only 1 fish seen rising. Good day in the river. Legges sausage roll and Dudfield fried egg sandwich, washed down with Henry Weston's vintage. A nice day on the river!

Started on Llyn Bochlwyd, only fished about 2hr. Bright & sunny conditions kept things slow, but managed one fish of about 11" (released) on a small dark wet fly. Fish started rising sporadically about the time I needed to head back down the mountain to meet up with the rest of the family. Ended with about 1.5hr on Llyn Idwal, one fish missed.

First time on this beat. Easy parking, easy wading and lots of varied and interesting water to fish. Slow start but as the temperature rose so did the fish. 8 wbt caught, 5 of which over 14", the best around 18". Great day, great beat will definitely return.

Cloudy morning with cold wind. Waterlevel low, one small trout on nymph. The weather improved in the afternoon, perfect evening. I caught another five trout up to 35 cm on small emerger patterns.
