Rainy day.
Wipers stopped working 5 mins away from Gromain.
Fish were safe as houses on the beat today!

Such a terrible day again. Spoke to many others who were fishing and only 2 trout caught all day. We had 6 rods out between us and not a bite. Waste of money, definitely not getting stocked.

Nice afternoon on the Tees, at cronkley bridge, weather was surprisingly kind. Quite a strong upstream wind at times but manageable. Size 16 terrestrial f fly accounted for half and a size 16 olive cdc got the rest.

Some nice fish showing in sporadic rises.

Turned cold and started raining around 5pm so called it a day.

All fish returned.

1st time at this water fished all down the beat saw one fish on the stones and caught one Shad about 2lb had the heart going for a brief moment, overall I liked the beat easy access to main pools great fly water Will definitely give again

Didn't catch anything, but saw a couple of small trout jumping, and plenty of flies out. Nice spot to fish.

Fly 1/2 inch cone head Rogie tube. Fresh silver Coronation salmon. 12 lbs estimated. Long strong fight. Safely returned.

Very tough going, weather not letting up much, with temps still low and rain pretty constant.
A lot of swapping and changing methods, spider drifts working getting 2 fish, with a short 20min flurry of mayfly hatch and rise managed a few more fish.
A good day out as always, but challenging!

Intermittent rain, with some nice dry spells in between. No fish seen or caught but first time at the Rectory beat. I'll be back!
