7 Barbel, 13 Chub, 3 Pike

Steady days fishing on the weekend with 16 barbel caught on the tip using arrange of baits best being pellets wrapped in paste few caught on meat including the chub but also 3 eels.
Both have pbs of 9lb 11oz and 9lb 8oz including
4x 8lb+
3x 7lb+
4x 6lb+
1x 5lb+
2x 4lb+

changeable weather conditions went from windy to calm,heavy rain showers to warm sunny spells.
saw lots of carp bubbling and managed to catch 3 nice commons one at just over 10lbs and the other two both 11 pounders.
All fish, as always in immaculate condition and very hard fighting.

River was high and we saw 2 otters. Fished with meat and pellet

Trotting with maggots targeting Graying. Very light gear. Miserable wet day but fish were biting well amongst the downpours. 1 x 2lb Graying and 2 x 0.5lb on double red maggots. 1 x very nice trout approx 3lb.

Lovely little stretch of water. Very peaceful indeed . Conditions again we're not the best for this venue, river rising couldn't keep bottom even with 6 ounces. The track down to this venue in wet raining conditions unless you have a 4x4 don't try it as you will get stuck . It's very slippery. Once through the main gate drive to the bottom of the first field and walk the rest of the way.
