We started off under the tree and sat watching 2 x tips not moving for 2 hours. after moving to the 2nd swim had a better result. Caught steadily, but slow throughout the day, with 3 Barbel between 3 & 6 lbs and 7 chub, with a couple around the 5lb mark, luncheon meat, krill pellets, source boilies and pellets, all caught, it was a day of changing baits that kept the day active.

Fishing:Trout (River)

First time at Ty Mawr. What a beautiful stretch of water this is. Fished in the afternoon.
Unfortunately did not see any fish, nor any rises, and equally very few airborn insects maybe due to the chilly upstream wind. Hence did not fish dry (my preference) but stuck with small nymphs, to no avail
Lovely to see the kingfishers thoiugh, to makeup for the lack of fish.

Nil return. Wild weather made casting almost impossible. I tried for an hour then called it a day.
