10 rainbow, small browny and a perch between 3 of us , everyone around us had their quota, must have been over 30 caught

2X brown trout on single barbless spinner, fish topping in the centre but couldn’t reach with the fly rod. Great area to be with the family!

Stunning stretch of river, great nymphing water. Caught at least 10 trout, lost just as many. Quite a lot of action.

Fished Glandwgan in the morning and didn't see a fish. There was a strong east wind blowing across the lake. Moved to Rhosrhydd after lunch where it was more sheltered and caught 10 fish. Biggest was close to 3lb but they we're all good fish in pristine condition. Fish we're rising all afternoon but were quite picky. All were caught on small black dry flies. Excellent day's fishing

Very strange. Used to be a member of Merthyr AA and the taff was prolific throughout the year for trout. But no signs of any. Grayling were active though.

Very sunny Easter Sunday. Plenty of walkers, picnickers and stone throwers out! Just found the small ones today. Best fish were a couple of 12-inchers.

Nice day, river still low and clear but recent rain must have helped. March browns and olives trickling off from 12-4 with trout rising sporadically throughout the day. 6 trout to 1.5lb mostly on olive emerger patterns.
