Not much of a hatch not much surface activity. 1 trout caught on black magic nymph. Lost a really nice sized trout to this method as well.

Just a quick hour at the end of the day. River low and glassy smooth. A few flies on the wing but very little rises. Persevered and was rewarded with my best ever Grayling at the start of a tongue of water in the middle of the beat, which went to a greenish Klinkhammer.
