saw a few risers just before the sun set but couldn't convince them to take dries, just got one small trout fishing a nymph under an indicator

Fished all day. Rain in PM. Just fished Dry Flies and rose fish throughout the day. Some Mayflies but imitations did not rise the trout. Wonderful evening rise to tricky fish. Best flies H/E Klink, Sedges, Adams Invincible. Lovely colony of Swifts nesting in bank.

I prefer to catch trout, not shopping trollies.

Easy access. Fairly challenging wading and a few trout seen rising. Nothing interested in the fly.

Very warm day, I saw one decent fish on beat 5 , and had a follow from a large pike on beat 2 nothing else seen, also the river showed no sign of green algae

Great to be back here after not being able to last year, had 19 lovely conditioned Brown Trout between 2 of us. The day was a bit hot & sunny, but with a brisk breeze, & then rain later. Fish caught on a selection of wets, & a few n the usual small dries, Great day & hope to be back soon, the road down is much improved to which is a bonus.

Not a touch today, very warm, no rises. Lovely quiet location.
