6 Barbel, 4 Chub

Only one of us made the day, others off with covid.
River was just right but I was plagued by eels attacking the meat as soon as I cast out.
Barbel were smallish 3 - 4 lb.

4 Barbel, 8 Chub

We caught 10 Barbel to 8lb 3oz & 24 Chub to 5lb 9oz.

Disappointed with access to swims on top part of length. One swim had a 2 foot diameter tree laying right across the access slope to the river. Extremely dangerous to climb over

Lovely beat, quite physical but abundant aggressive strikes to an Adams in most of the riffles and two 7” fish brought to hand. Water crystal clear.

Fished 7am unilt 10.30 1 chub
Then 6pm until 7.45 4 chub 1 barbel in 5 casts then nothing ????.
