15lbs Salmon caught on Mepps spinner and returned safely. This is a lovely place to fish for salmon with well kept pathways and access points.

Had an hour well spent at the river. There was quite a bit of colour in the river. Fished the duo method with a size 18 klink with a size 14 goldhead PTN. Landed 3 lovely grayling up to 3/4lb and a trout of about 10". Maps were easy to use, access was great. A lovely beat, I will be visiting again!

great afternoons fishing with plenty of fish active. managed to hook 7 fish including two in excess of 12". I also had a number of other takes.

An enjoyable beat to fish. I had no takes and therefore no fish either but this is likely my inexperience at river fishing. I tried numerous winged flies and nymphs but without success.
In the up stream slow river areas there were good fishing taking on the surface.
It is slightly difficult to access the river but there are enough entry points and I walked a fair way once into the water. I would fish this beat again

14 lb slightly coloured cock salmon on size 8 Executioner. Swam off strongly on release.
