A very unusual blank in very good conditions.

Only two of us fished today, but we had a great day on our favourite beat!

16 Barbel, 16 Chub

Fish came throughout the day on pellet/feeder and rolled meat. Couple of barbel lost too. Largest chub 4-13 and largest barbel 8-8

3 Barbel, 8 Chub

No fish at all not fishing well at all lately everyone saying these same last year was great

Krill pellet O’s size 10. Approx 75cm estimate 8lb ish

Two brown trout approx 1 lb each on fly. Both safely returned to the water.

2 Trout

Fished from 11 until 4. Overcast. Very little fly activity so only sporadic rises. Caught 3 trout on PTN in the faster water, two approx 12 " in good condition. All returned.

Plenty of rising fish in the river; I just couldn't catch them. I caught 4 trout (the largest to 8") but missed many more. All fish were caught on CDC, coq de leon and hares mask generic emergers of sizes 14,16, and 18.

River was dropping, slowed right down and had a lovely session between us both.
A.C had 19 chub 1 Barbel by the croy
J.C had 28 Chub, no sign of Barbel on this occasion.
