River too low

Bright hot day and river very low and clear. All fish taken on groundbait feeder tactics with double 10mm Mainline ISO Fish boilies on the hook.
Barbel average weight approx 6/7lb
Chub average weight approx 3/4lb
Biggest Chub weighed in at 5lb 3oz.
Awesome day's fishing, looking forward to coming back in a few weeks when thing's cool down.

5 Barbel, 17 Chub

3 rods fished from 2pm up to 7.30. Fished off the bottom and also with float - both with worm. Also tried spinning. One perch. Very little fish activity

Short session on a beautiful day, fruit boilies did the trick again with two 12lb common's within half an hour of each other. great place, thanks WUF.

Tricky day with the river super low, both chub came from the fast water.

2 Chub

Small dry sedge was successful, river very low, due to maize beck and other inlets. Four trout (returned, barbless hooks.) Missed and felt several others using different flies. Lots of insect life around, plenty of daddies etc, a lot more life than usual and fish rising as well which was unusual. Fish could afford to be selective. Nice peaceful day though.
