I’ve never fished this beat before, I can’t think for the life of me why because this is perfect for me but need to return once we’ve had some rain as today the river was quite skinny.
Fished 10:00-14:00, no real hatch in this time just a few singles coming off. No fish today unfortunately but still an enjoyable few hours.

8 hours and zero fish from both anglers. Tried both sides of the res. Just a couple nibbles but nothing else. Only seen 1 person catch a couple on the A470 side. £37 and no fish. Either not stocking it regularly enough or it’s getting hammered with poaching.

Great little spot for trout fishing , fished on the eastern bank using worm had success caught a nice brown trout which was returned. Hightly reccomend to others nice accessible spot with free parking.
