Lovely day on this super stream but sadly no sign of any fish. Maybe still a little too cold.

Had a lovely day although no fish caught, few trees but a great place. Tried numerous ptn flies but water very cold and no fish seen at all during the day, river running quite high. Will return when warmer.

Beautiful afternoon on the Honddu. Sunny with very little wind. Air Temp 8C. Black Mountains snow capped. River in perfect condition, with a steady trickle of LDO's hatching all afternoon from around 1.30pm onwards. No fish rising for the naturals at all. No fish seen. Water extremely cold from the snow melt.
Tried dry imitations of LDO and also fished duo method in all the likely spots to no avail. Desperately in need of some warmer days.

The river was a nice light green colour. Nice day, much warmer than last weekend! No fish seen. This could be down to me being a hack at Spey casting and the loads of groups in boats going past. Will be back to try again.

Nice venue, the water was clouded because of recent weather. Probably a bit early in the season for an estate lake and as such, nil caught nil seen.

River low and clear. Fished for salmon in the morning. No sign of any fish. Small hatch of March Browns in the afternoon sunshine encouraged me to have a try for trout, but to no avail. Pleasent day.

First chance to get out this season so spent a couple of hours on the top section only. Warm and bright with a light breeze. Persisted with selection of dry flies but saw sight nor sound of a fish and very little fly hatching. Only encouraging sign was a lot of fry in the warmer slacks.

Sunny day but temperature was still low, some insects on the water but not many fish showing. One small fish caught on nymph near bridge and returned.
