Loose weed floating down made things a bit awkward but had 4 nice Barbel on feeder and pellett. A bright day but very pleasant and the fish were a bonus.

Sadly Nil return but plenty of fish showing

Caught one stocked rainbow on black gnat. Bright conditions, flat calm. No other takes.

Perfect water at 1ft and clearing. Saw and fished over 2 salmon at the rock again with no success using several tube flies on an intermediate line.

Took 4 trout at 5-6pm on subsurface sedge again but no significant size. Had to leave before late evening rise once again so very frustrated with others!!

3 barbel to 6-10 and 1 mirror carp of 13-12. floating weed a problem. Swim feeder and elips pellets as bait.

Nice stretch of river. 4 of us fished most of the morning and evening for around 12 fish between us, including barbel to 7lb and chub to 4lb. All the fish came to cage feeder and pellet. Tried rolling meat for some time but to no avail.

Caught 3 barbel and 6 chub for 4 rods, very hard fishing and disapointing return from a normally good beat.

Fished early morning until lunchtime. Hooked and lost 2 salmon, second one mid teens in weight. All very frustrating - still waiting for my first Wye salmon.
Other salmon showing and it would appear there are plenty of fish in the beat today. Water visibility no more than a couple of feet so if it clears a bit more tomorrow could be very good indeed.

Nil catch return. This beat is almost unfishable. Silted in almost all its length and very overgrown almost unfishable.
This beat does not justify 4 vouchers. Fished for less than 1 hour and returned to vehicle. Not good value for money.
